It Pays To Serve The Lord

It Is Not Over Till The Lord Says It Is Over!

Have you been discouraged? Have you lost your FAITH in believing you are going to be okay? Never forget who your Heavenly Father is! By accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, YOU became a Child Of God!!! Your Father is watching over you and listening to your ever cry. You are never alone. He Cares, and He Loves YOU!!! You must always remember, that God created you, and He can fix you, at all times in whatever arises in your life. This month we celebrate FATHER’S DAY. Some of our earthly fathers have passed away, but we know our Heavenly Father will always be here to assure us we are never alone. If you are hurting, in pain, sad, depressed, in need, troubled, lonely, or given a bad report NEVER GIVE UP!!! Your Heavenly Father God will give you strength, love, direction, help, and healing. NEVER believe the lies of the devil as he tries to make you believe God does not care, and lying saying nothing will never change. Never listen to negative and hurtful people that are not there to build your Faith Stronger In God. God Will Make Away Where There Seem To Be No Way! Keep Praising, Trusting, and Obeying God Everyday and See how God will turn your trial into a blessing! Your Heavenly Father God can use your situation for His Glory, to be seen by others to come to believe in Him. What A Testimony You Will Be Given, As God Turns Your Life Around, To An Healing Experience! PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Work Out Your Salvation — Not Your Own Theology

Philippians 2:12 says, “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Sometimes people read that as if it means every Christian gets to build their own version of the faith, picking and choosing what they believe. But that is not what St. Paul is saying. Paul is not giving us permission to create a DIY Christianity. He is writing to the Church and calling believers to obedience, humility, and seriousness before God. The very next verse says, “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13). So “work out your own salvation” does not mean “figure out your own truth.” It means we must personally live out the faith we have received. No one else can repent for us. No one else can pray our daily prayers for us in our place. No one else can obey Christ for us. We must respond to God’s grace with faithfulness. The Christian life is not private opinion. It is life in Christ, within His Body, the Church. We do not cherry-pick doctrine, ignore correction, or reshape Christianity around our preferences. We receive the faith, humble ourselves, and walk it out with fear, trembling, repentance, and trust in God. Salvation is not a hobby project. It is not something we customize. It is the life of Christ being formed in us.

Heaven Bound Church of God needs volunteers to help keep God’s house clean. Volunteers are needed to vacuum, clean the sanctuary, and clean both bathrooms once a month.

  • Bathroom spray air fresheners
  • Comet cleaner
  • Mr. Clean mop cleaner
